KOBAI

faq

what is kobai?

a token launchpad on elysium. anyone can launch a coin on a bonding curve priced in HYPE. every coin that graduates blooms — and burns five petals of its supply, one a day.

what exactly burns, and when?

5% of every coin's supply is locked as its flower at launch. after the bloom, 1% of the initial supply burns every 24 hours, 5 times. the flame fee burns more on top, during those days.

who owns the flower?

nobody. the coin's contract holds it, and the only thing it can do with it is burn it on schedule.

can the creator or the team stop the burn?

no. the schedule is in the contract. anyone can trigger a petal that is due; no one can trigger one early or skip one.

do i need to do anything to benefit?

no. there is nothing to claim and nothing to stake. hold through the bloom and your share of the coin grows as the supply shrinks.

what happens if i sell during the bloom?

you sell at the market price, like anywhere else. you just stop owning a share of the coin as it burns.

what if a coin never reaches the threshold?

it stays a bud. it can still be bought and sold on its curve. its flower never burns, because it never blooms.

why HYPE?

kobai lives on elysium, where HYPE is the gas. pricing in the native token keeps things simple: one asset in, one asset out.

is $KOBAI live?

not yet. there is no contract address. the real one will appear on this site and on @KobaiElysium only.

is there an airdrop / presale / whitelist?

no, and anyone who says otherwise is not us.

is the testnet app real?

it is a simulation: the rules are real, the numbers are not. nothing you do there costs or earns anything.

where is the code / audit?

see contracts. both will be published before mainnet.

is this financial advice?

no. read security & risks.
