kobai in one minute
紅梅 — the red plum blossom. the first flower of the year. it blooms in the cold, before everything else.
kobai is a token launchpad on elysium, kinetiq's L2 for hyperliquid, where HYPE is the gas. anyone can launch a coin. every coin that makes it — every coin that blooms — burns five petals of its own supply, one a day.
every coin that blooms here burns five petals. one a day.
the whole idea
- plant. anyone launches a coin on a classic bonding curve, priced in HYPE. a coin on the curve is a bud (蕾).
- the flower. at launch, 5% of the coin's supply is locked as its flower. nobody owns it — not the creator, not the team.
- bloom. when the bud reaches the graduation threshold, it blooms: its liquidity migrates to a DEX pool on elysium.
- five petals. from the bloom, the flower burns one petal every 24 hours — 1% of the supply each time — for 5 days. on-chain, automatic, visible to everyone.
- the flame fee. during those 5 days, part of the trading fees on that coin buys it back and throws it into the same fire.
- the tree. $KOBAI is the tree the garden grows on. part of all launchpad fees buys back and burns $KOBAI.
So every coin that blooms on kobai gets lighter every day for its first five days. holders who stay through the bloom own a bigger share of a smaller supply.
why a flower
memecoin launchpads are fast and loud. most of what is launched is forgotten in an hour. kobai keeps the speed of a bonding curve but gives every coin that graduates a small ritual: five days during which the coin is visibly, verifiably getting rarer. it is a reason to stay, written into the coin itself.
the plum is the first flower of the year in japan — it opens while the snow is still on the branches. elysium is just waking up. we wanted the first flower.
status
- elysium mainnet is just launching. kobai runs a testnet simulation today — see using the testnet app.
- $KOBAI is not launched. there is no contract address. any address you see before it appears on this site and on @KobaiElysium is not ours.
- every number that is not final is marked TBD in these docs, and lives in one config file.
